chairs and equipment ready for patients

Southern Maryland Mission of Mercy (SMMOM) provides dental services for adult patients (ages 19 and above) that include:

  • Preventative dentistry and cleaning
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Restorative fillings
  • Extractions

All dental services are provided by licensed dentists and hygienists.

You will receive a brief medical screening. If you have a condition that requires approval by your physician to be treated, please bring that authorization with you.

You will receive a dental evaluation. If you require treatment for multiple dental problems, the treating dentist will determine what procedures will be addressed that day.

The doors will open at 7:00 am and the line will close between about 9:30 am and 11:00 am when the clinic is full for the day.
